Help Support the Arts in California
Together let us explore the stars, conquer the deserts, eradicate disease, tap the ocean depths and encourage the arts and commerce.

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the largest arts festival in the world. It takes place every August in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. From big names in the world of entertainment to unknown artists looking to build their careers, Festival Fringe includes theatre, comedy, dance, physical theatre, circus, cabaret, children's shows, musicals, opera, music, spoken word, exhibitions and events.
This year, the Bulldog Theatre Company from Golden Valley High School in Bakersfield, California has been given the rare opportunity to participate in Festival Fringe. The Bulldog Theatre Company is led, tirelessly and without much fanfare, by my dear friend, Sheila McClure. "The Fringe is an amazing opportunity for anyone," Sheila has said, "but for these kids it's like a moon shot. The cost is beyond what's even imaginable for these kids and their families (almost half to a third of the yearly income for some)."
My parents - and in particular my father - instilled in me the importance of the arts in education. The arts certainly played (and continue to play) an integral role in my life, and I wouldn't be where I am without them. My kids all actively participate in the arts, and if they were ever given an opportunity like this I would do everything in my power to help them take full advantage of it.
So now I want to do my part. For each 16" x 20" print I sell, I will donate $60 to the Bulldog Theatre Company; and for each 20" x 30" print I sell, I will donate $100 to the Bulldog Theatre Company.
